Capital City Black Film Festival
The virtual Capital City Black Film Festival run Dec. 4-6 and features more than 60 features and short films. All films will be available to stream from Dec. 4 via Eventive. Narrative features include Discarded Things, The Subject, and When We Try. Documentaries include Building the Bridge, The Guy From Niagara, and Man In Me. Austin is represented by director Ya'Ke Smith's web series The Pandemic Chronicles. On Dec. 5, the festival will offer two virtual events devoted to mental heath and a conversation with CCBFF ambassador and Black-ish star Anthony Anderson.
