Executive produced by Mark Duplass and Jay Duplass, director Joshua Rofé's three-part Hulu series Sasquatch explores the legacy of the mythical creature against the growth of the cannabis industry in Northern California's Emerald Triangle region of Mendocino, Humboldt, and Trinity counties. Rofé's follows journalist David Holthouse's investigation into a 1993 triple homicide that he recalls overhearing at the time being attributing to Bigfoot by cannabis farmers. Sasquatch debuts April 20 on Hulu. Joshua Rofé previously directed the TV miniseries Lorena and the documentaries Swift Current and Lost for Life. Sasquatch premieres 10 a.m. central March 16 during SXSW Online, which runs through March 20. Aired: April 1, 2021.
