"Homewrecker"
In the Fantastic Fest dark comedy Homewrecker, lonely middle-aged extrovert Linda (Precious Chong) attempts to strike up a friendship with the thirtysomething Michelle (Alex Essoe). The demur Michelle seems wary of the eccentric Linda, but she agrees to go to Linda's house to provide an estimate for an interior design project. Once inside Linda's house, though, Michelle quickly discovers that Linda is willing to do anything to remain in her company. Precious Chong and Alex Essoe wrote Homewrecker with Zach Gayne, who makes his directorial debut with this two-hander. Homewrecker will screen 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25 during Fantastic Fest at the Alamo South Lamar. Posted: Sept. 24, 2019 Web site: https://fantasticfest.com/films/homewrecker |
