Interview:
Justin Bostic,
director,
"Bus Stop"
Austin-based director Jason Bostic’s short film Bus Stop reunites two men divided by age, race, and philosophy. Tim Hess plays a sickly professor who is forced to take the bus to an appointment when his car breaks down. His encounter at the bus stop with a former student (Chris Proutt) results in a conversation that reveal the painfulness of their shared history. Written by Bostic and Kendra Dobson, Bus Stop will screen 3 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Palmer Events Center during the Capital City Black Film Festival.
