Austin Polish Film Festival
The Austin Polish Film Festival runs Nov. 2-5 at the AFS Cinema. The festival will open Nov. 2 with the post-World War II drama Cursed and close Nov. 5 with director Agnieszka Holland’s crime drama Spoor as part of a day that’s dedicated to Polish women directors. The festival also will screen the documentary Return of Agnieszka, about director Agnieszka Holland, and the crime drama Amok, which is directed by Agnieszka Holland’s daughter Kasia Adamik. Other features include Blindness, Affterimage, By Stanley for Stanley, The Last Family, and The Art of Loving. The Austin Polish Film festival also will present Hatred, which will screen Nov. 6 at the Regal Arbor Cinema at Great Hills as part of the Austin Jewish Film Festival.
