![]() Previously on Hell Town: sex, money, power, betrayal, and gratuitous violence. A spoof of slasher films and soap operas, Hell Town chronicles the days and the lives of the two rival families, the Manlys and the Gables. Hostilities are put on hold when a masked killer begins killing members of the high school football team. Austin’s Elizabeth Spear co-wrote and co-directed Hell Town with Steve Balderson. She previously directed 2010’s Little Gods, which was one of the films to be shot on an iPhone. The Austin Horror Society will screen Hell Town at 7:30 p.m. April 23 at the Alamo Drafthouse Lakeline.
