Austin Revolution Film Festival
The Austin Revolution Film Festival will run Sept. Sept. 3-7 at the Alamo Drafthouse Muellerand Crowne Plaza Austin Hotel. Devoted to independent cinema, the festival features narrative and documentary features and shorts, including the Austin-made Empty Nester's Handbook, Good Feels on Wheel, and Hyde. The festival will include panels on surviving film festivals and on how the Austin Film Commission can assist local and visiting filmmakers. The festival also presents and evening with Austin-based director and University of Texas Associate Professor Ya'Ke Smith (Wolf, The Beginning and Ending of Everything).
