Representing the first produced screenplay by Everybody Wants Some!! star Blake Jenner, the Fantastic Fest entry Juvenile follows the downward spiral of an angry young man Billy (played by Jenner) who cannot escape his life of crime. All that is keeping the carjacker from self-destructive is his girlfriend Jennifer (Supergirl's Melissa Benoist). The cast also includes Grant Harvey as Billy's closest friend Mikey and Nathaniel Stroud as fellow carjacker Josh. Juvenile is directed by Bradley Buecker, who worked with Jenner on the TV show Glee. Jenner also starred in The Edge of Seventeen and will next be seen in Sidney Hall and American Animals. Jenner discussed Juvenile and working with director Richard Linklater on the Austin-shot Everybody Wants Some!! during this year's Fantastic Fest.
