Interview:
David Franklin,
director,
"As Far As the Eye Can See"
The Austin-shot small-town drama As Far As The Eye Can See stars Dazed and Confused’s Jason London as a pianist who struggles to overcome his demons. Recently separated from his wife, and now living in near-reclusion on his family farm, Jack Ridge is forced to confront his past when he agrees to participate in the county annual classical piano competition that he won 20 years earlier to great acclaim. It does not help that Jack must contend with a hand that he injured as a result of punching a wall in frustration. As Far As The Eye Can See also stars Jasmine Skloss-Harrison as Alyssa, a teenage girl with a passion for the land, and Danny Mora as Mexican restaurant owner Phillip, Jack’s friend, confidante and piano student. As Far As The Eye Can See is now available on Blu-Ray and DVD and for streaming. Written by Paden Fallis, As Far As The Eye Can See marks the directorial debut of David Franklin.
