Interview:
Dwight Adair,
writer/director,
"Tributaries "
Dwight Adair (right) began working on his short film Tributaries in the 1970s when he was a student in the University of Texas’ Radio/Television/Film Department. While Adair shot footage on 16 mm film over the course of several months in the Hill Country, his life and career prevented him from completing his short film about a young couple who endeavor to become at one with nature. Until now. Adair recently teamed up with composer Samuel Lipman to finish Tributaries. Tributaries will screen 1:30 p.m. April 25 at the Music Recital Hall on the UT Campus with the UT Chamber Ensemble performing Samuel Lipman’s original music score. Tributaries composer Samuel Lipman joins writer/director Dwight Adair during this interview.
