"Linoleum"
Directed by Colin West, the dramedy Linoleum stars Jim Gaffigan as Ohio astronomer Cameron Edwin, whose life threatens to fall part when his wife Erin (Better Call Saul's Rhea Seehorn) files for divorce and he loses the children's science show he hosts on local TV to his successful and charismatic doppelgänger Kent Armstrong (also Gaffigan). When an Apollo service module crash-lands in his backyard, Cameron realizes he has received an unexpected opportunity to build a rocket ship so he can fulfill his lifelong dream to be an astronaut. Linoleum also stars Katelyn Nacon as Cameron's teenage daughter Nora Edwin and Gabriel Rush as Kent Armstrong's son Marc and the new kid at school whom Nora befriends. Linoleum will screen during the SXSW Film Festival at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at the Alamo South Lamar, 12:45 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. Sunday, March 13 at the Violet Crown Cinema, and 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 17 at ZACH Theatre.
