Interview:
Juston Street,
"My All American"
Writer/director Angelo Pizzo’s inspirational sports bio My All American focuses on the life and accomplishments on and off the football field by University of Texas safety Freddie Steinmark. American Horror Story’s Finn Wittrock portrays Steinmark, who played for Coach Darrell Royal on the 1969 Longhorns national champions. He was diagnosed with bone cancer, and had a leg amputated, after the Longhorns beat the Arkansas Razorbacks football team in the so-called "Game of the Century." He died in 1971 at age 22. My All American also details Steinmark’s relationship with quarterback James Street, who posted a 20-0 record and two Cotton Bowl wins with the Longhorns. Street also pitched for the Longhorns, going to three straight College World Series and throwing a perfect game. Street, who died in 2013, is played in My All American by his son Juston Street. Juston Street has previously appeared in Degenerates, Juvenile Transgressions, and 3 Days, and he will next be seen in Richard Linklater’s Everybody Wants Some.
