The program, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Violet Crown Cinema, features original scores to two Buster Keaton silent shorts, 1923’s The Balloonatic by Calliope Musicals frontperson Carrie Fussell and 1920’s Convict 13 by the Atkins High School Head of Strings Department and Fine Arts Chair Thomas Mann and students with The Akins New Music Ensemble, including classical guitarists Edan Tapia-Lugo and Maria Contreras.
