​48th Annual Paramount Summer Classic Film Series

The 48th Paramount Summer Classic Film Series comes to a close in August and early September with programs devoted to female singer biopics, popular musicals, politics and social justice, and 1980s summer favorites. Hitchcock Week returns with a strong emphasis on the director’s thrillers from the 1950s. Standalone screenings include Tokyo Story and Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? The series ends with a program devoted to big-screen classics, which includes the closing night selection Giant on Sept. 9.
