Interview:
Jason Douglas,
"Two Step"
Director Alex R. Johnson's Austin-made thriller Two Steps pits a grieving college student (newcomer Skyy Moore) against an ex-con (Looper’s James Landry Hébert) responsible for scamming his late grandmother. Two Step costars Jason Douglas as Hébert’s former boss, a criminal who seems less interested in the $10,000 Hébert owes him than seeing him leave town. Jason Douglas has appeared in such Austin-made films as Friday Night Lights, A Scanner Darkly, Secondhand Lions, Sin City, Machete, and Men, Women & Children as well as the TV shows Breaking Bad, Nashville, and Revolution. He currently appears in The Walking Dead as Tobin, one of the residents of the Alexandria Safe-Zone. Two Step will screen 7:15 p.m. Aug. 27 and 8:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Aug. 30 at the Violet Crown Cinema in advance of its Sept. 1 VOD release.
