_ Founded by Alka Bhanot, Indie Meme is an Austin-based film distributor that specializes in narrative and documentary shorts and features from South Asian. Court, Fandry, and The APU Trilogy rank among the film's distributed by Indie Meme. Indie Meme will screen three films in September as part of its Family Film Month at the Southwest Theaters. Pappu ki Pugdandi will screen 2:30 p.m. Sept 6; Brahmin Bulls will screen 7 p.m. Sept. 11 with director Mahesh Pailoor in attendance; and Goopi Gawaiyaa Bagha Bajaiyaa will screen 2:30 p.m. Sept. 19.
