The fourth annual ATX Television Festival will be held June 4-7 at various venues. The festival will kick off June 4 with a screening of USA's new series Complications. There also will be a conversation with Grace & Frankie creator Marta Kauffman, panels devoted to Drunk History, Empire, The Leftovers, and The Simpsons, and cast and/or writers reunions of Dawson’s Creeks, Gilmore Girls, and Queer as Folk. There also will be screenings of Boomtown, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Bunheads, The Comedians, The Fosters, Hannibal, Journeyman, Justified, Married, Power, Rectify, Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, Suits, Teachers, Wayward Pines, Younger, You’re the Worst, and the Austin-short From Dusk Till Dawn, with talent in attendance. There also will be a tailgate community screening of Friday Night Lights at the Hotel San Jose Parking Lot at 6 p.m. on June 5; a Hasbro Studio’s BEST. MORNING. EVER Saturday Morning Cartoon Breakfast at 9 a.m. on June 6 at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar; and a DINOSAURS Mini-Marathon and Q&A with creator Michael Jacobs on June 7 at the Alamo South Lamar. Finally, The Simpsons' James L. Brooks will receive the festival’s Achievement in Television Excellence Award on June 6.
