The Paramount Summer Classic Film Series opens May 22 with The Wizard of Oz and closes Sept. 4 with Giant. The Paramount Summer Classic Film Series also includes a 25th-anniversary tribute to the films of 1989 and sidebars devoted to Alfred Hitchcock, Harold Ramis, John Hughes and John Candy, John Travolta, Barbara Streisand, Elizabeth Taylor, Orson Welles, James Bond, The Godfather, and the Sergio Leone Dollars trilogy. In addition, there will be a World War I series presented in conjunction with the Harry Ransom Center.
