In Austin-based writer/director Cody Duckworth’s eco-horror film Harbinger, a 12-year-old assault victim (Paeka Campos) spends the summer recovering from her traumatic experience on a South Texas ranch. Things, though, aren’t quite what they seem on the ranch, and Mira begins to fear for herself, her father (Dimitrius Pulido) and her pregnant mother (Tina Rodriguez). Harbinger, which marks the directorial debut of Cody Duckworth, will screen 4p.m. May 7 at the Marchesa Hall & Theatre as part of the Cine Las Americas International Film Festival.
