"The Eternal"
A pizza delivery woman (Grace Marlow) receives a message from beyond the grave in The Eternal, the Fantastic Fest short chiller that’s written and directed by the Austin-based Daniel Stuyck. After enlisting the help of Cyndi William’s parapsychologist, Marlow goes in search of a passageway that could led her to the whereabouts of the presumed dead person who is attempting to communicate with her. Daniel Stuyck previously directed the short experimental film Envy; he also runs a color and title company that has worked on such local and regional features as Krisha, The Seer, Peace Officer and Yakona. The Eternal will screen 2:30 p.m. Sept. 23 and 5:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Alamo South Lamar before the Fantastic Fest feature film Sweet, Sweet Lonely Girl.
