"She Dies Tomorrow"
Written and directed by Amy Seimetz, She Dies Tomorrow focuses on a group of people who infect each other with the unfounded, seemingly irrational belief that they are about to meet an untimely death. Seimetz follows a chain of contagion that starts with recovering alcoholic Amy (Seimetz's frequent collaborator Kate Lyn Sheil). The cast of this allegorical tale of anxiety disorder and other mental illnesses includes Jane Adams, Chris Messina, Katie Aselton, Josh Lucas, Michelle Rodriguez, director Adam Wingard, and TV on the Radio lead singer Tunde Adebimpe. Amy Seimetz previously directed the 2012 indie Sun Don’t Shine as well as two episodes of Atlanta and 13 episodes of the TV series based on writer/director Steven Soderbergh’s The Girlfriend Experience. Seimetz starred in The Myth of the American Sleepover, Tiny Furniture, A Horrible Way to Die, Silver Bullets, You’re Next, Pit Stop, and Upstream Color, as well as in Season 1 and Season episodes of Stranger Things as Eleven's Aunt Becky. She recently appeared in Alien: Covenant, Pet Sematary, and Wild Nights with Emily.
