Nick Shymansky served as singer-songwriter Amy Whitehouse’s manager from the beginning of her career to the recording of her debut album, 2003’s Frank. Shymansky is among Whitehouse’s many friends and colleagues who are interviewed in the documentary Amy, which reveals the private Amy Whitehouse that the public did not know before and after her untimely death on July 23, 2011. Shymansky also contributed footage to the documentary by Senna director Asif Kapadia.
