"A Room Full of Nothing"
What happens when you are The Last Couple on Earth? Directed by former Austinites Duncan Coe and Elena Weinberg, the fantasy dramedy A Room Full of Nothing finds a married couple regretting what they wished for—that they were all alone in the world. Barry and Phyllis wake up the next morning after making their wish to discover that everyone in Austin—and around the world—has disappeared without a trace. Elated at first, Barry and Phyllis quickly realize that the peace and tranquility they so desperately want comes with a steep price. Duncan Coe, who wrote A Room Full of Nothing, stars as Barry; Ivy Meehan stars as Phyllis. A Room Full of Nothing will screen 4:15 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Galaxy Highland and 1:45 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Hideout Theatre. Duncan Coe directed episodes of #ATown, the web series co-created by Elena Weinberg and costarring Ivy Meehan. Newlyweds Coe and Weinberg recently relocated to Los Angeles.
