Perhaps there are too many days in the weekend for Austinites Linus, Lisa, and Jon. In director Ronald Short’s 14-episode online comedy series Weekend Plans, married couple Linus and Lisa and their roommate Jon spend their Saturdays and Sundays expending a lot of energy doing very little. They argue over a HBO Go account, struggle to decide where to eat, debate bathroom etiquette, play film- and TV-themed board games, and contemplate their sexual fantasies. The cast features Ronald Short as Linus, Bloom Wilde as Lisa, and Nathan Minger as Jon. Weekend Plans is now available for online viewing. The final episode of the current season, “The Orbs of Power and Light,” posted May 21. Ronald Short previously directed the 2012 feature Billi & Theodore.
