writer/director,
"ABCs of Death 2" and "Rat Pack Rat"
Todd Rohal is one of 26 directors to contribute a segment to ABCs of Death 2, the sequel to the 2012 horror anthology that counts the Alamo Drafthouse’s Tim League as a producer. Rohal’s humorous segment, P-P-P-P is for Scary, follows three men as they nervously making their way through a dark void, unsure of who or what awaits them. ABCs of Death 2 will screen 8:40 p.m. Sept. 18 and 7:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Alamo South Lamar during Fantastic Fest. It also will be available on VOD beginning Oct. 2. The Austin-based Rohal’s short, Rat Pack Rat, will screen 7:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Marchesa Hall & Theatre as part of this year’s Texas Filmmaker’s Showcase after premiering at this year’s SXSW Film Festival. The comedy stars Eddie Rouse as a Sammy Davis Jr. impersonator who is hired to perform for Steve Little’s sickly, bedridden birthday boy. Rohal and Little previously collaborated on 2011’s The Catechism Cataclysm.
