The 48 Hour Film Project is an annual movie-making contest that requires its participants to make a short over the course of a single weekend. The Austin 48 Hour Film Project was held the weekend of July 18-20. This year’s Austin 48 Hour Film Project contest shorts will screen 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. July 26 at the Marchesa Hall & Theatre. Joining me now to discuss this year’s Austin 48 Hour Film Project is contest producer Alyne Harding and participating filmmakers Dave Amis and 16-year-old Miguel Posadas. Dave Amis’ team Strider Films made Noir Dream. Miguel Posadas’ channel/Austin’s Youth Camp team, The A Team, made The Drifter.
