Interview:
Micheal Foulk,
"Meet Me There"
Home isn’t where the heart is in Meet Me There, an Austin-made chiller directed by Lex Lybrand from a screenplay by Brandon Stroud and a story by Destiny Talley. The psychologically damaged Ada (Lisa Friedrich) returns to her small Oklahoma hometown of Sheol in a bid to fill in the missing gaps in her childhood memory. She is accompanied by her caring boyfriend Calvin (Micheal Foulk), who is immediately viewed with suspicion by Sheol’s closed-minded residents. Ada and Calvin soon realize something sinister is going on in Sheol, but getting out of town is easier said than done. Lisa Friedrich makes her feature-film debut in Meet Me There; Micheal Foulk appeared in Lybrand’s previous film, the softball comedy Summer League. Meet Me There will screen 7 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Alamo South Lamar with many of the cast and crew in attendance. Lisa Friedrich and screenwriter/producer Brandon Stroud join Micheal Foulk during this interview.
