The Indie Meme Film Festival runs April 19-22 at the Regal Cinemas Arbor 8 at Great Hills. Devoted to South Asian independent cinema, the festival opens with the drama Bhasmasur and closes with Chumbak (The Lottery). Other narrative works include Turup, Barley Fields on the Other Side of the Mountain, Angamlaly Diaries, and Ribbon. Documentaries includes Ask the Sexpert, Taala Te Kunjee (Lock & Key), and Abu. The festival also will include a youth initiative program of shorts made by young filmmakers.
