Austin Polish Film Festival

The Austin Polish Film Festival runs Oct. 16-19 at the Marchesa Hall & Theater. The festival opens Oct. 16 with the 1958 post-war drama The Last Day of Summer, from the Martin Scorsese Presents Masterpieces of Polish Cinema series, and the 2012 drama Loving. The festival closes Oct. 19 with the true story Papusza. Other highlights include the biography Walesa: Man of Hope, the road film One Way Ticket to the Moon, and a Children’s Film Festival on Oct. 18 that will include Frozen dubbed in Polish.
