Interview:
Thomas Bezucha,
writer/director,
"Let Him Go"
Based on the novel by Larry Watson, writer/director Thomas Bezucha’s neo-western Let Him Go reunites Man of Steel’s Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as a Montana married couple in search of their missing grandson. Three years after the accidental death of their son, Margaret and George Blackledge fear for the safety of their young grandson Jimmy after their former daughter-in-law Lorna suffers physical abuse at the hands of her new husband, Donnie Weboy. Before Margaret and George can intervene, Donnie moves Lorna and Jimmy out of town without warning. Margaret and George, a retired sheriff, hit the road to find Lorna and Jimmy, only to discover Donnie hails from a North Dakota family with little tolerance for strangers. Let Him Go costars Kayli Carter as Lorna, Will Brittain as Donnie Weboy, Lesley Manville as Weboy matriarch Blanche Weboy and Jeffrey Donovan as her brother Bill. Let Him Go is now available for digital and on demand viewing and debuts Feb. 2 on Blu-Ray and DVD. Thomas Bezucha previously directed Monte Carlo, The Family Stone, and Big Eden. He also wrote The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and the upcoming The Good House.
