"The Little Tin Man"
![]() In writer/director Matthew Perkins’ The Little Tin Man, Aaron Beelner plays Herman, an actor who fights back against the discrimination he faces in his profession as a little person. With the help of his friends and family, Herman goes all out to audition for the role of the Tin Man in a remake of The Wizard of Oz by, of all directors, Martin Scorsese. The Little Tin Man will screen 7:40 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Alamo South Lamar during the Cinema Touching Disability Film Festival. Organized by the Coalition of Texans with Disabilities, and running Oct. 17-18, the film festival screens features and shorts that address issues faced by people with disabilities. Cinema Touching Disability Film Festival founder/coordinator William Greer joins Aaron Beelner during this interview.
