![]() Written and directed by actress Megan Park, the SXSW Online drama The Fallout examines the traumatic stress experienced by two high school shooting survivors, Vada (Jenna Ortega of Jane the Virgin, Stuck in the Middle, You) and Mia (Maddie Ziegler of Music and the upcoming West Side Story). The students find comfort in each other as they struggle to cope with life after the tragic event. But Vada's inability to understand why she survived the shooting results in a downward spiral. Megan Park makes her directorial debut with The Fallout. She starred in the TV series The Secret Life of the American Teenager and the films Central Intelligence, Room, Demonic, So Undercover, Diary of the Dead, and Charlie Bartlett. The Fallout won the SXSW Narrative Feature Competition Grand Jury Award and writer/director Megan Park won the Brightcove Illumination Award.
