Lead Film Programmer Lars Nilsen previews the Austin Film Society June 2018 programming at the AFS Cinema. Highlights include the Noir Canon, The Complete Line Wolf & Cub, Ingmar Bergman: The Darkness, and the Jungle Freaks: The Cinema Novo of Joaquin Pedro de Andrade series. Also, the 15th Anniversary screening of Thirteen on June 10 will be followed by a conversation between director Catherine Hardwicke and AFS founder Richard Linklater.
