"Time Trap"
Partially shot in Austin and Georgetown, the sci-fi thriller Time Trap follows a group of archaeology students into a Texas cave system as they seek to locate their missing professor (Andrew Wilson). The professor believed the cave system would lead him to a life-altering prize sought by explorers for centuries; instead, its interference in the space-time continuum means that the students find themselves flung into an uncertain future as they search for the professor. Time Trap is directed by Mark Dennis and Ben Foster (pictured), who previously worked together on the 2011 drama Strings. Mark Dennis wrote the script. The students are played by Reiley McClendon, Cassidy Gifford, Brianne Howey, Olivia Draguicevich, and Max Wright. Time Trap, which screened during last year’s Austin Film Festival and this year's Hill Country Film Festival, is now available on Blu-Ray and DVD and for digital and on-demand viewing.
