Written and directed by Adrian Panek, the World War II thriller Werewolf focuses on eight children liberated from the Gross-Rosen concentration camp in Poland. They believe their war has come to an end when they are sent to live at a temporary orphanage in a dilapidated mansion in a remote forest. Then they discover that the camp’s pack of vicious German Shepherds guard dogs have wandered into the forest and are hungry. Werewolf, which premiered locally during last year’s Fantastic Fest, will screen 9:30 p.m. Nov. 9 during the Austin Polish Film Festival. Adrian Panek previously directed the 2011 period drama Daas.
