"Condor"
![]() The new Audience TV series Condor takes its inspiration from director Sydney Pollack’s 1975 thriller Three Days of the Condor and the source novels by James Grady. Stepping into the role made famous by Robert Redford, Max Irons (pictured) plays CIA analyst Joe Turner, who is thrust into the middle of a conspiracy involving the military-industrial complex. The cast includes William Hurt as CIA operations officer Bob Partridge, Brendan Fraser as bad guy Nathan Fowler, and Leem Lubany as assassin Gabrielle Joubert, the role originated by Max von Sydow in the film. The series is created by My Own Worst Enemy and The Bionic Woman’s Jason Smilovic and Kidnapped’s Todd Katzburg. Max Irons starred in Red Riding Hood, The Host, Woman in Gold, and Crooked House; Leem Lubany starred in Omar and Rock the Kasbah. Condor premiered locally during this year’s SXSW Film Festival and is now airing on Audience. The pilot will screen 2 p.m. June 8 at the Alamo Ritz during the ATX TV Festival with cast members Katherine Cunningham, Kristen Hager, and Kristoffer Polaha in attendance.
