Interview:
Stephanie Thereon,
"Good Feels on Wheels"
What do you do when you are a stranger in a strange town and you are stood up by your potential soulmate? Find someone to show you the sights, of course. The comedy Good Feels on Wheels stars Loverboy Comedy improv member Stephanie Thoreson as Opal, who travels from San Francisco to Austin to hang with her long-distance boyfriend. But Opal finds herself stuck alone in Austin when her boyfriend is suddenly called away on business. By chance Opal meets Wyatt (Good Feels on Wheels writer/director Ronald Short). Wyatt offers his services to Opal as an unofficial tour guide as he delivers small quantities of marijuana to customers in different parts of Austin. One day is all it takes to determine whether Opal and Wyatt are meant to be together. The also cast includes Byron Brown, Timeca M. Seretti, Temple Baker, and Peggy Schott as marijuana consumers and Sam Eidson as Opal’s creepy Airbnb host. Good Feels on Wheels will screen 8 p.m. Sept. 5 at the Carlo Rodriguez Theater at the Crowne Plaza Austin Hotel during this year’s Austin Revolution Film Festival.
