Texas Filmmaker's Showcase 2016
![]() The Texas Filmmaker’s Showcase 2016 features eight short films by directors from across the state. Austin is represented by two films: Jason Neulander’s chiller Hit & Run and Bryan Poyser’s comedy More Than Four Hours. The other films are Payton Thropp’s faux documentary Breakfast in Bed; Travis Champagne’s thriller Jackdaw; Ford Gunter’s drama Jenny & Tom; Augustine Frizzell’s Minor Setback; Gabriel Duran’s Peor Es Nada (Nothings Worse); and Angela and Mark Walley’s Sound and Time. Curated by the Houston Film Commission, the annual showcase will be held 7 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Violet Crown Cinema.
