Viva Cinema at the Bullock Museum
The Bullock Museum and Cine Las Americas join forces for Viva Cinema at the Bullock Museum series, which kicks off 7 p.m. Feb. 18 with the comedy Güeros. The new series, which focuses on contemporary Mexican cinema, which continues April 15 with Nora’s Will. Bullock Museum programmer Tony Hubbard joins Cine La Americas film festival director Jean Lauer during this interview. Cine Las Americas also will screen Tony Manero at 11 a.m. Feb. 12 at the Violet Crown Cinema as part of its CineNoche series and will co-present two OUTSIDER Fest programs: Queer Rebels: Transgressors at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 16 and Kuniklo at 5 p.m. Feb. 19 at The Vortex.
