A celebration of girlie pop culture, the second annual Forever Fest will be held Nov. 14-16 at the Alamo South Lamar and the Highball. The festival kicks off with a retrospective quote-along screening of Mean Girls with costars Jonathan Bennett, Daniel Franzese, and Daniel DeSanto in attendance. There also will be sneak preview of the cross-cultural romance Amira & Sam, with stars Martin Starr, Paul Wesley, Dina Shihabi, and director Sean Mullin in attendance. Events at the Highball include a Spring Fling and a Pajama Party. Sarah Pitre (left) and Brandy Fons (right) founded Forever Fest. Sarah Pitre is a programmer with the Alamo Drafthouse who also founded the Web site http://foreveryoungadult.com/ in 2009. Brandy Fons is the founder and owner of Fons PR, which represents the Alamo Drafthouse. Brandy Fons joins Sarah Pitre during this interview.
