![]() Death becomes Art the Clown. At the end of writer/director Damien Leone’s 2016 Halloween slasher Terrifer, the slain killer clown (David Howard Thornton) was brought back to life by an unknown supernatural entity. In Terrifer 2, the reanimated Art once again terrorizes the small community of Mills County on Halloween. During his bloody rampage, Art crosses paths with a pair of teenage siblings—Sienna (Lauren LaVera) and Jonathan (Elliott Fullam)—whose inexplicable connection to him remains a source of mystery to all. Terrifer 2 also stars Jenna Kanell, who returns as Terrifer’s final girl Tara Heyes. Professional wrestler Chris Jericho’s cameo in Terrifer 2 sets up a possible appearance in a third Terrifer. Terrifer 2, which premiered locally during last month’s Fantastic Fest, opened Oct. 6 in theaters. Writer/director Damien Leone’s creation Art the Clown first appeared in the short films The 9th Circle (2008) and Terrifer (2011), both of which Leone recycled for his 2013 horror anthology All Hallows’ Eve, before returning in 2016’s Terrifer. Leone also directed 2015’s Frankenstein vs. the Mummy. David Howard Thornton assumed the role of Art the Clown from Mike Giannelli beginning in Terrifer. Professional wrestler and renown horror fan Chris Jericho has appeared in MacGruber, Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!, and Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.
