In the British zombie teen horror-comedy musical Anna and the Apocalypse, a small group of friends and enemies must band together to fight against the army of undead that has taken over their hometown of Little Haven. If it means breaking into song, so be it. Based on Ryan McHenry's short film Zombie Musical, the John McPhail-directed Anna and the Apocalypse features Ella Hunt, Malcolm Cumming, Sarah Swire, and Christopher Leveaux, Ben Wiggins and Marli Siu as the students with weapons in their hands and a song in their hearts. Roddy Hart and Tommy Reilly composed the songs. John McPhail previously directed Where Do We Go From Here. Director John McPhail, writer Alan McDonald and cast members Ella Hunt, Malcolm Cumming, Sarah Swire, and Christopher Leveaux discussed Anna and the Apocalypse during this interview conducted during Fantastic Fest 2017. Anna and the Apcalypse will screen 11 a.m. Sept. 25 and 11:55 p.m. Sept. 26 during Fantastic Fest at the Alamo South Lamar.
