![]() Directed by Jeremy Workman, the SXSW Online documentary Lily Topples the World focuses on the efforts by YouTube domino toppling sensation Lily Hevesh to turn her childhood obsession into a career. Workman follows Hevesh for three years—beginning when she is a 19-year-old Chinese-American college freshman—as she expands her audience and grows her celebrity beyond social media and pitches her own line of toppling dominoes. Jeremy Workman previously directed the documentaries The World Before Your Feet, Magical Universe, and Who Is Henry Jaglom? He also directed the narrative feature The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond. Lily Topples the World premieres 4 p.m. central March 16 during SXSW Online, which runs through March 20. Aired: March 18, 2021.
