"Murder Bury Win"
Directed by Michael Lovan, the Austin Film Festival dark comedy Murder Bury Win finds three friends struggling to crowd-fund a board game that puts players in the shoes of a killer. Their luck appears to change when they are approached by famed board game developer V.V. Stubbs (Craig Cackowski) about buying the rights to "Murder Bury Win." Unfortunately, Stubbs' proposal quickly leads to the friends playing a real-life version of their board game. Murder Bury Win will stream during the 2020 virtual Austin Film Festival, which runs Oct. 22-29. Michael Lovan previously co-directed the 2012 documentary Japan in a Day.
