GTX Film 2019 Film Festival
The GTX Film 2019 Film Festival will be held April 5-7 at the City Lights Theatre in Georgetown. The festival places an emphasis on area-made films, with a lineup that features David N. Reyes’ Austin-shot My Ranger, Dan Jimenez’s Austin-shot Velma is Living, Jason Ancona’s Georgetown-shot Tag Team Truckers, a horror double feature of Jonathan JJ Perez’s Round Rock-shot Beneath – A Cave Horror Film and directors Paulo Biscaia Filho and Gary McClain Gannaway’s Austin-shot Virgin Cheerleaders in Chains, and the Mike Norris-directed, Texas-shot The Crossroads of Hunter Wilde. The festival also includes a conference and a pitch competition. .
