Alamo Drafthouse Scheduling and Logistics Manager Tiernan O'Rourke previews the September 2019 programming at the Alamo Drafthouse Austin. Rolling Roadshow welcomes Val Kilmer for screenings on Tombstone and Top Gun. The Alamo South Lamar hosts this year's Fantastic Fest and a Pedro Almodóvar retrospective in advance of the director's forthcoming Pain and Glory. The Alamo Ritz hosts the First of Iron series, featuring screenings of martial arts classics Police Story, Master of the Flying Guillotine, and The Dragon Lives Again set to original scores performed by local DJs. The Alamo Drafthouse Village celebrate Art House Theater Day with a screening of Robert Downey Sr.'s Putney Swope. Various Drafthouses will mark the release of It: Chapter Two with a Clowns Only screening.
