Austin 48 Hour Film Project
The Austin 48 Hour Film Project is an annual movie-making contest that requires its participants to make a short over the course of a single weekend. This year’s Austin 48 Hour Film Project contest was held in June and the Best of Screening and Awards Show will be held 3 p.m. July 15 at the AFS Cinema. The following required elements in their films: the character of Justin or Jennifer MacArthur, a baker by profession; the prop an eraser; and the line, “That's what my Dad always said” or “That is what my Dad always said.” Liz Reeder Neubauer is the Team Leader of the 2017 contest winners, Studio E, which produced the harrowing musical Another Day in America for this year’s contest. Denise Garza is the Team Leader of first-time participants Vintage, which produced the spy/espionage comedy HOA for this year’s contest.
