Austin Revolution Film Festival
The Austin Revolution Film Festival will run Sept. 19-23 at the Alamo Drafthouse Slaughter Lane, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Austin - University Area, and the Blue Starlite Drive-in. Devoted to independent cinema, the festival will include narrative and documentary features as well as the Austin short films 4 Quarters of Silence, Hungry Hearts and The Saw. Austin Revolution Film Festival organizer writer/director James Christopher will screen his new dramedy The 5 Year at 7 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Alamo Slaughter Lane as part of the Austin Revolution Film Festival’s A Night at the Drafthouse. The 5 Year chronicles the chaos that occurs during a reunion held by seven close friends.
