Shot on location at Toy Joy, Wind-Ups follows the workplace exploits of a group of Austin toy store employees led by director/showrunner Protextor as Adam. Thoreson, who has already written the remaining four episodes of Wind-Ups’ first season with her writing team, stars as store manager Ellie. Each episode of Wind-Upsis set on a major holiday, beginning with New Year’s Day and Valentine’s Day. The cast also includes Yamina Khouane, Kenah Benefield, Ryan Darbonne, and Haley Alea Erickson. Wind-Ups will premiere at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Fallout Theater with head writer/producer Stephanie Thoreson and director/showrunner Adam Protextor in attendance.
