Produced by Aaron B. Koontz of the Austin-based genre label Paper Street Pictures, the Luke Boyce-directed apocalyptic horror comedy Revealer finds a stripper and a religious activist reluctantly joining forces to survive the Rapture. Trapped inside the Illinois adult bookstore Revealers, Caito Aase’s peep show girl Angie and Shaina Schrooten’s protestor Sally seek a way out of the building before a demon finds them to pass righteous judgment. Revealer will screen at 8:30 p.m. May 21 during the Other Worlds Film Festival’s UnderWorlds Film Fest 2022 at the Galaxy Theatres Austin. Revealer will then debut June 23 on Shudder. Luke Boyce previously directed the 2013 documentary The Art Lives and the 2017 short The Pooka.
